Route A, a route through the periphery of the old town and Route B, a route through the interior taking as a reference the squares of the old town.<br \/>\n<br \/>\nWe started the trip along Route A.<br \/>\n<br \/>\nWe left the Hotel Casa de las Cuatro Torres, heading to the Plaza de Espa\u00f1a.<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<br \/>\n* Plaza de Espa\u00f1a: it is presided over by the Monument of the Cortes de C\u00e1diz of 1812. It is a square open 24 hours a day and has free admission.<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<br \/>\n*Muralla de San Carlos: they are located in Plaza de Espa\u00f1a, looking at the monument on the right. We recommend climbing the stairs to enjoy the view.<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<br \/>\n*Paseo Alameda Apodaca: beautiful walk with a view of the bay.<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<br \/>\n*Balander: A traditional-based restoration. At the bar you can order the most Cadiz tapas.<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<br \/>\n*Baluarte de la Candelaria: it is an exhibition center, they are usually interesting and not only the exhibitions but also the environment itself. Consult schedules according to exhibitions. The cost of entry is variable.<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<br \/>\n* Genov\u00e9s Park: it is the largest green area in the old town. We recommend visiting the viewpoint of Santa Barbara, as well as the interior of the park. Its schedule from 8:00 until sunset and in summer from 8:00 to 22:30. Admission is free.<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<br \/>\n*Castle of Santa Catalina: First castle we will find if we follow the route. It will give way to La Caleta beach. Autumn-Winter hours are Monday to Sunday from 11:00 to 19:30 and Spring-Summer Monday to Sunday from 11:00 to 20:30. Free admission, except for previously announced events.<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<br \/>\n*Playa de la Caleta: The most emblematic and recognized beach in our city. You can have a tapa at Bar Club Caleta. Admission is free as on all the beaches of the city as long as the red flag does not fly.<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<br \/>\n*Castillo de San Sebasti\u00e1n: it is a fortress located at the other end of La Caleta beach. It has a long way to go, on that road is the famous canal bridge, from where the youngest people of Cadiz jump into the water in summer to entertain themselves. Hours every day from 9:00 to 17:00. Free admission.<br \/>\n<br \/>\nIn the surroundings getting a little deeper we can find several very typical Cadiz bars.<br \/>\n<br \/>\nIf we walk leaving the Caleta behind, we will arrive at the Cathedral of C\u00e1diz.<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<br \/>\n..-Mini-Bar La Tabernita: Calle Virgen de la Palma, 32. A small but pleasant place. Small tapas at a super price. Hourly<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<br \/>\n..-Tavern Casa Manteca: Corral\u00f3n de los Carros Street, 66. Very typical Cadiz.<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<br \/>\n..-Bar el T\u00edo de la Tiza: Plaza T\u00edo de la Tiza, 12. The best portions and fish along with the fresh seafood in the area.<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<br \/>\n*Walk through the southern countryside: a walk with a visual of the old town and the new area of C\u00e1diz, reminiscent of the boardwalk of Cuba. If we walk leaving the Caleta behind, we will arrive at the Cathedral of C\u00e1diz.<br \/>\n<br \/>\nWe recommend having a coffee or drink at Ajol\u00e1: Avenida Campo del Sur, 20.<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<br \/>\n*The Cathedral: Built in the 16th century above the old Gothic cathedral. To consult both prices and schedules consult the following link as they are variable.<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<br \/>\n*Between cathedrals is a viewpoint that is located in the vicinity of the New Cathedral (the current one) and the old Cathedral.<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<br \/>\n*Roman Theater: the entrance is by Calle Mes\u00f3n, 13 (Interpretation Center of the Roman Theater). The hours from April to September are Monday to Saturday from 11:00 to 17:00 and Sundays and holidays from 10:00 to 14:00. The hours from October to March, Monday to Saturday from 10:00 to 16:30 and Sundays and holidays from 10:00 to 14:00. Closing on the first Monday of each month. Admission is free.<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<br \/>\n*El Pelicano M\u00fasica Caf\u00e9: space for a good coffee or a drink, live music. Located at Avenida Fern\u00e1ndez Ladreda, 1, B\u00f3vedas de San Roque. Hours from Monday to Sunday from 4:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m.<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<br \/>\n*Gates of Earth: Iconic symbol of the city of C\u00e1diz, separating the old town from the new area. You can visit the schedule from April to September is Monday to Friday from 9:30 to 13:30-18:15 to 20:15, Saturdays from 10:00 to 13:00, Sundays closed.
